While at a bank Kogoro was reminiscing of the days when he was a tutor and decided to go see one of the girls he tutored. While on their way, Ran, Conan, and Kogoro saw a man speeding on a one way street almost hitting them when Kogoro sees Megumi. Megumi tells Kogoro to wait there while her sister backs her car out of the garage. The car however explodes in her garage and it's up to Conan to find out who set up the bomb and killed Megumi's sister.
