Ran and Sonoko are on there way back from shopping and decide to take the bus a old man sits next to Ran talking about her dad Ran falls asleep and when she wakes up the man is gone and no one remembers him. Conan discovers a strange disk in Ran's new purse it up to Conan to figure what happened to the old man and what the disk is for.
