We find Conan and his friends at Beika Elementary school. The Detective Boys find a mysterious handbag with a message in it behind one of the books in the library. Conan thinks back and remembers that he was encountered by a shady man back when he was younger with Ran. He and the Detective Boys try to solve this mystery, 10 years later.
